Meet some of our friends who are doing amazing work
Dr Vikki Barnes
Vikki is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and international speaker, specialising in Positive Psychology and Happiness. She is the founder of Positive Wellbeing, a business that supports the mental health of individuals and organisations, enabling them to flourish.
For over 10 years, Vikki has worked in the NHS and Virgin, in both clinical and strategic roles, offering assessment, therapeutic intervention, consultation and evaluation, and embedding positive psychology into the ethos of organisational structure. She designed and led a national wellbeing programme, training a team of wellbeing ambassadors to ensure long lasting impact, with outstanding results.
Some of Vikki’s overseas work includes mental health aid to hurricane survivors in the British Virgin Islands, in a culture of limited services where they are much needed, particularly following traumatic disaster. She worked with the community as well as with other health professionals in paving the way to improved mental health provision. This included individual therapy, group resilience and healthy mindset workshops, personality and strength awareness training.
Vikki’s particular passions include authenticity, wellbeing of people and wellbeing of the planet and she’s currently writing a book about these topics.

We are incredibly grateful to Fionn for writing and composing a unique piece of music for our podcast series. He offered us his time and expertise and we're lucky to have him on board with our mission.
"Having had experience with mental health problems myself, to me I find mental health can be a bit like housework. It will be boring and hard work sometimes, but its work that needs to be done so that you can continue to enjoy other aspects of your life. And often I find that when I'm in the swing of it, it can actually be quite therapeutic."
