Meet some of our friends and partners

Ian Nicholson

Owner Beaulieu Wills and Estate Planning

Ian has been in Financial Services for over 30 years. His whole mantra when it comes to dealing with client’s is making sure that they fully understand what they’re doing every step of the way. Ian will take time to fully understand exactly what it is you want to do with your Estate on your death, and make sure that the Will that’s drafted accurately reflects your wishes. It won’t be a rushed process, and at the end of it you, your family and those that you love and care for will be fully looked after. Ian also understands the need to regularly review what you put in place. Every 3 years or so he will review what was set up to make sure it’s still fit for purpose. The last thing you want if your circumstances change is for your Last Wishes not to be completely up to date.

If you or your relatives need to put in place Lasting Power of Attorney, Ian will guide you through the process, ensuring the documentation is completed and signed correctly. He will make sure all involved understand the implications of what’s being drawn up so that there aren’t any potential problems in the future.

Although not regulated to give advice on Life Assurance, because of his years of experience Ian can guide you through the uses and benefits of Life Assurance in conjunction with your Estate Planning. If you agree he can introduce you to trusted professional Financial Advisers who can talk you through the types of plan available and if necessary apply for the relevant plans.

Away from Business Ian lives in Mountnessing, with his wife Melanie of nearly 32 years. Golf, Rugby and reading are his passions, as well as enjoying the odd glass of Italian Red!

Ultimately Ian’s aim with Beaulieu Wills and Estate Planning is to provide easy to understand advice and guidance for everyone. Very few people like talking about death, Ian ensures that if the worst does happen, then at least those left behind fully understand exactly what your wishes were.

Fionn McGuinness-Maris

Songwriter, composer,  producer,  musician.

We are incredibly grateful to Fionn for writing and composing a unique piece of music for our podcast series. He offered us his time and expertise and we're lucky to have him on board with our mission.

"Having had experience with mental health problems myself, to me I find mental health can be a bit like housework. It will be boring and hard work sometimes, but its work that needs to be done so that you can continue to enjoy other aspects of your life. And often I find that when I'm in the swing of it, it can actually be quite therapeutic."

Creative Learning Systems

CLS  designed our Amazing Me learning platform and they have been so supportive throughout our process of designing and developing the programme. We felt that our ideas were listened to and CLS understood our vision immediately. They were able to bring our ideas to life. CLS are always approachable and helpful whenever we have a question.

"Our mission is simple - we provide you with the tools for you to do what you imagine is possible, that are tailored to your exact needs, and are economic to use. We deliberately adopt a disruptive approach to the elearning market so that all organisations, no matter how small, can benefit from using the very best tools for their organisation. Whether you are tracking progress and compliance, adopting a competency based framework, or simply looking to sell access to your content, we aim to be right there beside you, supporting your approach.”

To help raise funds for Amazing Me, Foyles of Chelmsford have kindly offered a number of free books to use as raffle prizes for schools who take a year's subscription to the programme.
